All art therapists and psychiatric providers at Art Therapy of MN offer the option of either in-person or virtual sessions. Art Therapy of MN is now providing virtual neurodiversity-affirming ADHD, Autism (ASD) and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) psychological assessments for young adults and adults (18 and older).

Walk-In Counseling Center

Phone: (612) 870-0565 | Walk-In Counseling Center provides free, no-appointment, no-insurance mental health and crisis counseling every weekday in clinic or online. Spanish speakers and those requesting additional counseling may set appointments. All services are provided by professional volunteers. People come to Walk-In for help with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, concern for a loved one, LGBTQ concerns, drug and alcohol use, grief and loss, bullying and school problems, trauma and abuse, job loss and employment problems, suicidal thoughts, and many more concerns.

Hennepin County Mental Health Crisis Line

24/7 Crisis Line: (612) 596-1223 | Crisis teams, made up of mental health professionals, can travel to an individual’s location and assess the situation. They provide stabilization services, intervention services, crisis prevention planning, referrals to other professionals, and follow-up services.The crisis teams are available by phone 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Callers are urged to utilize this service when someone is suicidal, psychotic, exhibiting out of control behavior, or threatening to harm themselves or others.

RS EDEN

From early achievements in substance abuse treatment and correctional residential programs, RS EDEN has evolved into a multi-faceted agency whose mission is to provide a spectrum of care, recovery, and support services to best facilitate individual, family, and community movement from homelessness to self-sufficiency. The belief is that with structure, stability, and accountability, people can and do change. RS EDEN operates nine supportive housing communities that serve youth, single adults, and families. These programs offer recovery-focused, transformative opportunities for residents to achieve personal goals, increase skills and income, integrate with the community, and stabilize housing.

VONA Center for Mental Health

Phone: (763) 225-4052 | VONA Center serves the most vulnerable populations and aims to help people gain self-reliance, dignity and hope-with collaboration, compassion, excellence, integrity, respect. Outpatient Services offer hope and a comprehensive array of effective mental health services for those of all ages. DBT intensive outpatient therapy is also offered through weekly individual therapy, weekly DBT skills training, and phone coaching. This form of treatment is geared to address concerns of suicidal thinking, self-harming behaviors, hospitalizations, and other experiences of significant emotional/behavioral problems. VONA Center also offers Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Mental Health, with culturally and language specific comprehensive mental health services for Deaf, Deaf/Blind and Hard of Hearing youth (birth to age 22) and their families who are experiencing difficulty due to emotional or behavioral problems, and their families.

Chicanos Latinos Unidos Services

Phone: (612) 746-3500 | CLUES (Spanish for: Comunidades Latinas Unidas en Servicio) is a linguistically and culturally relevant resource and service organization, with programs and services to connect individuals and families to resources, skills, institutions, and systems. Services focus on the Latino family, but also serve individuals and families from all walks of life including new immigrants and low-income families who dream of a better future. Behavioral health services offered are outpatient individual, couples and family counseling, group therapy, addiction-focused treatment groups, children's services and support, parenting assessments, psychological testing, mental health assessments, and education and presentations on behavioral health topics. Spanish-speaking services are provided.

Watercourse Counseling Center

Phone: (612) 822-8227 | Watercourse Counseling Center (WCC) is an accessible mental health resource for schools and neighborhoods across Minneapolis. Individual, family, and couples counseling for adults and children are offered. Therapists work with general mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief and loss, self-care, self-esteem and stress management. Therapists also help clients with addiction and impulse control, parenting and healthy development, relationships, sexuality and sexual orientation, identity, and spiritual connection. Spanish-speaking services are provided.

Community University Health Care Center (CUHCC)

Phone: (612) 301-3433 | Community University Health Care Center (CUHCC) provides mental health care through compassionate and behavioral health professionals. CUHCC is a federally qualified health center and also a department within the University of Minnesota's Academic Health Center. Available services offered include help for depression and other issues, individual, child, couple, family and group therapy, culturally competent diagnostic assessments, case management services for adults with serious and persistent mental illness, adult rehabilitative mental health services, medication management, psychiatry, child mental health targeted case management, and children's therapeutic support services.
